The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Inc. occasionally receives Rhodesian Ridgebacks into their Rescue Program for adoption to approved homes. These Ridgies are full of love and devotion but due to unfortunate circumstances they are in need of another family to love and care for them. They are placed in foster homes until a suitable forever home is found or in most cases will remain in the original family home. Below you will find a photo and brief history on each available Rhodesian Ridgeback awaiting rescue.
Foster Homes Needed: Sometimes we have an urgent rescue and foster accomodation is at a preimium. If you are able to offer temporary accommodation occasionally to a Ridgie in need, please contact the rescue co-ordinator. We are currently looking to purchase a Rescue Dog Run, which will be purchased from the donated money.

Please note that the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Inc. in no way can be held responsible for the health, or temprement of the rescue dogs. This must be determined by the person who is surrendering the dog and the person who is offering a home. The Rescue Co ordinator nor the Club can be held accountable for said animal.

Otis ¦ (left) is a lovely 2 year old purebred desexed male Rhodesian Ridgeback in need of a new home. He is very friendly and gentle with kids and other dogs are no problem. He has not been exposed to cats. Otis is a real sweetie who needs more attention and someone to love him. He is up to date with his vaccinations and worming and is in good health. |
